Safety Door Installation Instructions
1. Installation tools and material list
The following items should be prepared for installation: tape measure, level, grouting tools, electric drill, hammer, wrench, screwdriver, foam glue, glass glue, expansion screws, cement, mortar.
2. Door opening treatment
Before installation, check the size of the door opening to see if it is offset, not vertical, or not square. Chisel or plaster treatment should be performed as required. Check whether it is consistent with the door opening size left in the drawing. If the door opening does not meet the requirements, communicate in advance to make the door opening. The rough door opening is slightly larger than the outer size of the door frame by 20-40mm. Whether the old door needs to be removed on site.
3. Fix the door frame
Preliminarily determine the fixing position of the door frame, use a level to adjust the horizontal and vertical; after correction, screw in the door frame. When installing the auxiliary frame, first pop up the vertical control line on the wall, and install the auxiliary frame strictly according to the line. Use cement mortar to fill the gap between the frame and the main body. (After the main frame is installed, glue is required for a second time.)
4. Install the door leaf
Fix the door leaf on the installed door frame, check the installation according to the horizontal line, and check the installation position according to the center line. Check whether the door opens and closes smoothly and whether the lock opens smoothly. The door must be easy to open and close, not too loose or too tight.
5. Grouting
Adjust the position of the door frame and the wall, fix the door frame, and use tools to grout. Before grouting, use the wooden wedges to preliminarily position the door frame at the four corners of the door frame and fix it in the door opening.
6. Install hardware accessories
When installing hardware accessories, door handles and other devices, you can follow the instructions for use of the hardware accessories to install them. They should all achieve their respective functions and be screwed in with matching screws. It is strictly forbidden to hammer the screws directly. After installation, the switch should be tested several times to ensure flexible closing, no obstruction, warping, rebound, etc.
7. Gap treatment
